“Are you guys always this sarcastic?”
“Nothin’ else to do.”
So begins the first episode of one of the finest television comedies ever made. Canadian comedian Brent Butt, with all the confidence required to take over the world of Canadian television, brought together a diverse cast of talented people and helped to create a show that is one part Andy Griffith, one part Seinfeld, yet original in its own way. They were able to make a sensitive, yet callously comical show that gets better with each view.
I discovered the show 3 years after its original series run came to an end. My wife had heard many good things about the show at her job at the library. From the first segment of the first show, I was hooked. Hopefully, once you read the chronology or look at the original site for Corner Gas, you will become hooked with the gang from Dog River and spit at the mere mention of Woolerton as well.

Just as with The Office, this is all done in the spirit of respect. This show is incredible and I feel like it was written by people just like me, who have lived in places I want to live in. My wife and kids like the show as much as I, and with that, I will be including Emily in my reviews, too. As usual, this forum will work best with you interacting. If you agree or not, please let me know.
