• The Writers – Brent Butt and Mark Farrell
  • Director – David Storey
  • A brief synopsis – Hank starts having vaguely prophetic dreams, convincing himself he is psychic.  Brent and Wanda take advantage of this situation.  Lacey gets “help” from Oscar fixing the town’s one pothole.  Karen and Davis have a hard time keeping track of the keys.
  • The best line – Emma: You fixed a pothole and created a death trap.
  • 2nd best line –  Oscar (to Lacey): Is that a new water pitcher?  What are you trying to pull?
  • The best moment – The Bugs Bunny / Daffy Duck intro with Hank and Brent.  Simple, yet genius.
  • 2nd best moment – The face that Wanda makes when she informs Hank that she is not 100% sure Hank is not psychic.  It’s uncannily Hank.
  • The best storyline – Oscar’s ridiculing Lacey into action is pure gold.
  • Notable guest appearance – None.
  • Em’s Favorite Character – Wanda, because she pretended to believe that Hank had psychic ability.
  • El’s Favorite Character – Brent. because of when he went to go check if the cheese was expired.
  • Grade – A

Wonderful episode mixing bad memory, bad vocabulary, bad advice and bad foreshadowing.  This is CG at it’s simplified best.  A lot of people with nothing better to do than to bug the crap out of one another.  This is one of the best Lacey as a fish out of water episodes.  The way Oscar pushes her buttons to do something she had finally developed a resistance against her instincts to do, and then she pays for it anyway.  It would have been better had they not taken it to the last step, but that’s okay.  Hank, Brent and Wanda have a winner too, in the prophet of the not so specific dreams.  The stuff in the trunk, and Davis’ reasons for it, is great stuff.
