CG Safety First

  • The Writers – Mark Farell & Paul Mather
  • Director – Rob De Lint
  • A brief synopsis – Brent and Wanda work to develop a bicycle safety comic for Karen.  Upon learning that he is not a Virgo, Hank decides to change his live to match the way Libras live. Davis and Oscar practice safety with ladders while working on the LeRoy roof.
  • The best line –  Wanda (looking at Karen’s attempt at drawing): Ah.  You got kids to draw it.  It’s so cute!  Karen: I drew it.  Wanda: Oh.  I just said it was kids because it’s terrible.
  • 2nd best line – Wanda (to Hank wearing a different hat): Any luck finding the temple of doom?  Brent: Hey throw me the idol.  I’ll throw you the whip.  Wanda: Double scorch!
  • The best moment – The layout of the 2nd best line.  If you pay attention, you get to see the last part twice.
  • The best story line – Wanda floats between a couple of the stories and gets all the best moments.
  • Notable guest appearance –  N/A
  • Em’s Favorite Character – Wanda
  • Grade – B+

Wanda is excellent in this episode, and every story she touches is gold.  Hank and Davis’ roofing routine is corny as heck, though.  Imagining a Hank confused as to who he should be is better than you’d think.  That he gets his way into doing the accounting books for Dog River tells you a lot about the town.  Thank goodness for Wanda.
