Ebert Did It Better: Gasbag Reviews

• A brief synopsis – Michael is invited as a guest to the Shareholder Meeting, he of course, takes it as a celebration, when really they just want to use him as a prop.  Oscar gets a dream chance to speak his mind to the big wigs of the corporation.  Jim starts to crack down on time wasters at the office who don’t see him as a real boss.
• The best line – Andy: I’ve always been the guy who can rally other people to rebel. In high school I organized a walk out over standardized testing. Got over 500 students to just skip the SATs. At the last second I chickened out, took it anyway, got a 1220, always regretted it. I feel lachrymose .
• The best moment – Oscar gets his chance…and comes up empty.
• 2nd best moment – Ryan gets his new desk…in the closet.
• The best storyline – Ah, Oscar, ah humanity.  His journey is ours.
• Notable guest appearance – The Shareholders, the Senator, the CEO’s.
• Would Michael have been reprimanded? – The whole company is about to be reprimanded.
• Grade – B

A necessary move forward replete with birth pains.  Not a great episode, but a worthwhile one.  Recyclops is one of Dwight’s better characters.
