These three films are the pinnacle of Zombie’s career. His Halloween remakes may have grossed more, but this is HIS artistic statement. They are far from perfect, but they are also unforgettable. If you enjoyed the first two in the series, this will not disappoint.

Forgotten Gem: Jacob’s Ladder is a nightmare of riches
This type of film has not been attempted since it’s most directly inspired The Sixth Sense in 1999. The Bruce Willis movie used a much more straightforward approach and subsequently scored much higher gains at the box office.

IT Chapter 2 (****): Just can’t finish
“IT is one of the highest points of horror cinema in this decade. If the second chapter doesn’t reach classic status, there will be very few complaints. This is a combination of films that will be watched when kids the age of the Losers have overnight sleepovers for generations to come.”

“Weaving shows a believable range from comic, to frantic and then to vengeful. ”
